Well everyone, it has been 10 years since I started blogging, but it’s been 6 years since the last time I’ve written on this site.
In the past 6 years I have helped Mark pioneer and lead a Messianic congregation (The Bridge), continued to homeschool our kids (the oldest is now a senior), written and published Messianic children’s/teens’ discipleship materials (Messianic Kids), acquired my pastoral credentials through Foursquare, traveled all over the western US with our family, and more. My life has been full and I’ve grown in maturity and depth through so many experiences that have taught me to love God and love His people.
I’m resuming my blog because 8 weeks ago I suffered a spinal cord injury (idiopathic Transverse Myelitis) and have been writing about it on MealTrain, where we were organizing meal donations when I was in the hospital. I realized that as time goes on I will want to continue writing about it but will eventually want a different platform than MealTrain. So I’m putting this site live again and resuming my writing here.
If you scroll down, you can read my updates that were originally posted on MealTrain dated to the dates I originally shared them. If you go past that, you will see my old blog posts from 2012-2016. I was going to clear all of my old content out, but I decided to keep most of it because it was so fun to see how much I’ve developed over the years and to get a glimpse back at the younger Rich family!
Blessings to you!
